Santa Clara, California, January 12, 2011 – The International Society for Quality Electronic Design (ISQED) today announced that Joseph Sawicki, vice president and general manager of the Design-to-Silicon division of Mentor Graphics Corporation (NASDAQ: MENT), has joined the group’s Strategic Steering Committee. Mr. Sawicki is a leading expert in IC nanometer design and manufacturing challenges, and is responsible for Mentor's design-to-silicon products, including the Calibre® physical verification, DFM and RET/OPC platform, and the Mentor® TessentTM design-for-test product line. The ISQED Strategic Steering Committee is responsible for mapping the future direction of the organization.
